Buffalo Bills Book - Gift Details

Relive the Bills’ most memorable moments with this Washington Post newspaper book, featuring reprints of reports written at the time.

This newspaper book on the Buffalo Bills starts in October 1960 with the Bills’ 38-9 victory over Oakland. A win over the San Diego Chargers a month later also features as do other highlights throughout the 1960s. These include the team’s two AFL Championships in 1964 and 1965.

Thereafter, the team’s biggest successes all appear, thus creating a fantastic reportage history for any diehard Bills’ fan. Included in this is the OJ Simpson era of the 1970s, in which the now infamous player smashed all sorts of records with standout performances that saw him become the face of the Bills’ franchise.

More recent stand-out moments also feature, including the record-breaking four consecutive Super Bowl appearances between 1990 and 1993. Sadly for the Bills, every one ended in defeat. The 1990 match, in particular, was a heartbreaking loss – with eight seconds remaining and the Bills trailing 20-19 to the Giants, the Bills’ Scott Norwood saw his 47-yard field goal drift inches wide of the goalpost.

As for the book itself, it measures in at an impressive 12.5 x 15”, with the choice of two striking editions – both gold-embossed for free. The first is our original burnt sienna cover, made with an antique-style coat; beautifully contrasting the book’s originally reported black and white content.

The second is our unrivalled, premium black leather hardback, frequently chosen for its effortlessly simple design. Not only does this leather book include the black and white re-mastered content, this edition features full-color pages from 2006 onwards, merging your team’s definitive history into a precious contemporary keepsake.
