Further Information: Personalized New York Knicks Basketball Book
Introducing the New York Knicks
This historical gift book opens on November 2nd 1946 to report on the first game the New York Knicks ever played. Debuting in Madison Square Garden, a crowd of 7,090 fans watched as Knicks defeated the Toronto Huskies 68-66 and made their mark in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) which later became the NBA we know today.
Interestingly, the New York Knicks are one of two teams from the original BAA league still located in their original city (alongside the Boston Celtics) and consequently have a rich and long history in which they have entertained basketball fans, young and old, as detailed in this fascinating personalized book.
NBA Championship Wins
Read all about the years affectionately known as the “Championship Years”, between 1951 and 1973 in which the Knicks notched up 6 Eastern Conference championships to become one of the best performing basketball teams from their conference.

Their fourth appearance in the NBA finals, Walt Frazier scored an impressive 36 points alongside 19 assists to ensure Knicks lifted the much coveted Walter A. Brown Trophy for the first time.
Only 3 years later, the New York Knicks were crowned champions again after defeating the LA Lakers 4 games to 1, sealing the deal with a final score of 109-99, also featured in this personalized book.
